axle0000's Scoop
About me:
*Updated: January 7th, 2007* Describe myself... Well I could write a book but lets keep it simple. I'm artistic, without a doubt my favorite pastime, and it keeps me busy. I drew my own (and only) tattoo, as well as a few others for other people. I like conversations with strangers and work (yea, am I weird that I like to work?).. I can pick up and go at any moment, being alone in an unfamiliar place doesn't scare me. I rarely like to read, but when I do I wont stop. I'm an insomniac with alot on his mind. I don't have a steady schedule (mostly because of my job) I've lived in Las Vegas for the last 8 months (Henderson, 10 minutes from the strip). My job, well I'm what you like to call a "roadie"; However I do not travel, yet. Other titles I go by at my job is a Stagehand or A/V tech. Though they are two different things I am both. I set up Video and Audio equipment, as well as lighting for concerts. I love my job, I think I finally found my calling. I hardly ever work with the same people. Most of those I meet are from out of state/country. The money is great and the hours are good, the people are... different. I would say Michigan is the most beautiful state, but its a horrible place to live as of now. I'm random, I have no title or group. I am me. On December 2nd I got to meet Larry the Cable Guy after his show. I was tearing down his speakers on stage and he walked by and said "git'er dun!" Reminds me of all the rednecks I had back home, hes a cool guy though.. But that's my first celebrity I've actually talked too. I recently got a better car. A dark blue '97 Saturn SL2 (pictures in my profile). I practically live in it now, I come up with excuses to go places. I spend more on gas then I do on rent. I'm a technology freak. I'm part hippie (thanks mom), part conservative (thanks dad), and the rest I'd like to classify as Irish. I'm not religious. I believe in god but I do not practice any religion. I'm the opposite of short tempered, its hard to piss me off (even if you try really hard). I'm somewhat quiet but not shy. I tend to work harder, not smarter. Though I'm intelligent, I like to do things the hard way. The only thing I hate in the world are thief's; Anything else I would just "dislike". I haven't given up on relationships, but I'm not looking. (Women just spend all muh money!) I'm very ambitious and self motivated, but have gotten into long periods of depression... mainly because of friends or ex's, I tend to let people get to me sometimes.. and lose myself in the process. I always start out trusting people until they give me a reason not too, which I've learned isn't a good aspect... should be the other way around. I'm very adventurous and live like theres no tomorrow. Ok Ill give you an eye break.. Plus, this cat is the shit!

My ultimate goal is to see as much as I can.. I've already seen 27 out of the 50 states at the age of 20.. I'm grateful to able to say that; some people don't get to see that many in a lifetime. Eventually I would like to see all 50 states, go on a European tour (mainly Amsterdam and Greece), and my last stop to Australia.. If I go in debt for the rest of my life, I would find it well worth it. I've promised myself it would happen and I'm sticking to it... Before I grow too old, I would like to retire in my homestate... <3 Michigan, wooo! Life is what you make of it, and you only live once. I've met a lot of people, they seem to come and go. I can honestly say I only have 2 or 3 people in my life that I can count on as a friend. Everyone else has been an acquaintance, and the rest is my family. I've been let down and screwed over a lot, so I'm sceptical on making "close friends". I've realized that family are the best people you will meet in your life (despite on how dysfunctional they might be, you were only born with one family); everyone else seems to be out for themselves..the ones I've met anyway. I consider myself not to be that way but maybe I rubbed that effect off on a few. I'm a firm believer in not making regrets, but making alterations into bettering yourself; yet there are a few things I wish I would have done different. I've noticed that life is like the "Butterfly affect". Looking back at the passed 5 years of my life I've realized the choices I made could have changed my whole life, and have.. and future decisions will do the same. It's just scary to think about it sometimes, how many situations I could of ended up in jail with friends that made bad decisions.. people that I just decided to quit talking to, and relationships that seemed to end without reason. There are people that I've met that I wish I could have in my life again, but somehow fate makes it impossible. But it seems to have turned out for the best, I'm happy where I'm at now. I have high hopes for myself, the sky's the limit. Maybe this life is all planned? It seems so, the fact in which maybe I need to learn on my own without having to count on others.

Music:
I dislike rap, I get annoyed whenever I hear it. The only compensation I can give to any rappers are; Eminem, Tupac, and Sublime (if you consider that rap). They have a point in their music unlike 99% of the 'hip hop' singers now days. It's just something about hearing "Million dollar gold teeth" and Bently's that turns me off to the culture. Please look up the definition of music, and try to at least comprehend what your listening too. It's a series of beats and talentless people who look good on stage. I believe most rappers are hypocrite's.. talking about living in the projects on every album, then charging there fans $25 a CD. Each rapper talks about the same shit, being from the ghetto, yet not one of them attempts to make a change except to there bank account. Please get some self respect. And please don't give me the excuse, "rap is catchy and rock is depressing". Theres nothing "catchy" about fake artists who make a killing off of sensless rythm. As a final note on that, yes.. I said it. But your opinion is yours so don't let mine effect your decision. Myself, I like rock, metal, grunge, alternative, emo, blues, jazz, techno... Anything but polka, country and RAP!. The fact that I grew up listening to my parents culture of music, rubbed off on me. A few of them: Johnny Cash, The Doors, Janis Joplin, The Rolling Stones, Pink Floyd, Led zeppelin , Grateful Dead, Aerosmith, Jimi Hendrix, Lynard Skynard, The beatles... list goes on. As for new age bands: Slipknot, Nine inch nails, Metallica, Nirvana, Three days grace, Stone temple pilots, Smashing pumpkins, Alice in chains... quite a few others that I cant think of at the moment.
Movies:
I like anything thats not cheesy or a girly "like-whatever!" movie. My favorite all time movie would be "American History X" by far. If you haven't seen it, it is well worth the $3.00 to rent it. Also like somewhat mind boggling movies like Saw, and Butterfly Effect.
