I love to walk, drive, talk, paint, read, eat, drink, laugh, sing … but then doesn’t everyone!
I am addicted to my laptop but am hopeless with anything remotely technical …so be patient with me.

I read mostly contemporary fiction by female writers … people like Margaret Attwood, Anita Shreve, Joan Barfoot, Hilary Mantel etc. Try to read the Booker Man shortlists.
Recently read ‘The Time Traveller’s Wife’ and ‘Never Let Me Go’
Some of my all time favourites are ‘Something Happened’ ‘Tin Drum’ ‘Life of Pi’ ‘Birdsong’ ‘Handmaiden’s Tale’
Read poetry and the occasional cookbook.
Recently read 'On Chesil Beach' by Ian McEwan. Have now finished 'Mr Pip' and 'Tales from an Exhibition' so am about to start 'The Gathering'
