Well hello, thanks for dropping by.
The name's Mark and yes I am a Brit living on the "sunny" South Coast of good ole England. I "am" tall, 6'6", and well kinda slim with it, sorry all the ladies into hunks of muscle, not gonna find that here, if you are looking for that please move along swiftly :). I am not necessarily looking for Miss or Mrs Right at all, just using this a means to meet people outside my usual social circle and go from there.
What someone looks like isn't that important to me, although I aprreciate a good looking woman as much as the next man, to me the mind is the key to the soul of a person. One reason I like the on-line social scene, you get to know the person inside before the outside. I find it a great shame that most here go for the external, then again I guess it is an animated adult-themed world. I try to resist the temptation to go look at pics on a profile if I chat to someone new, better to get to know the person before pre-judging on appearance. Age also is just a number, I've known some childish oldsters and extremely mature teens over the years. Don't be put off by a number is my sound advice.
ALSO and this bit is important.. honesty is the best policy, WAY too many lies here in RLC. Can't stand liars so if you're gonna bullshit then I don't wanna know you, move swiftly past...

I have a very eclectic musical taste. If it's a good song or composition I'll listen to it. I do have a major fondness for the old Atlantic R'n'B though, used to sing in a covers band doing all the Atlantic classics. But then again I've sung PetShop Boys covers in another band and played bass in a rock outfit... told you it was pretty mixed..

I love movies, all kinds and genres from the Lord of the Rings Trilogy, Romero zombie flicks, anything pretty much with De Niro in it, Brit rom-coms (some of them), any of Kevin Smiths movies etc. So kinda like the rest of my tastes, it refuses to be pigeon-holed..

I love to read, it stimulates the imagination. Have even tried to write a few things, you can find bits and pieces of my stuff all over the web.
As for what I read, well anything as long as it isn't Harry "Bloody" Potter related (one of my pet hates is the over-hyping of this, at best, very average kids book series)
