Lately im listening to the different sounds of this world,mambo,salsa,some gypsy music.Also Sezen Aksu cd about Istanbul...Lately Bizet's "Carmen" in interpretations of Maria Ewing and Giulietta Simionato!
Movies:
"400 Blows" and other movies of Francois Truffaut and whole French New Wave.I adore these movies,especially "Hiroshima mon amour".
"Chungking Express" and a lot of new cinema from Asia.
"Aguiree" and the other films of Werner Herzog.Also his short,documentaries.
"Head on","Crossing the bridge","On the edge of heaven" - movies of Fatih Akin,one of the most interesting new directors.
Ingmar Bergman & Luis Bunuel works and many other
movies from all around the world...
