A few of my pet peeves:
plush vs. lush
When describing a body part during a scene, most people use the word plush. This is incorrect. If you have plush lips, I sure as hell don't want to kiss you, because you obviously haven't brushed in a while! Same with your body. If it's plush, you either better be a stuffed animal or be wearing velvet or some other PLUSH material. If not, you're either a plant creature or funky as hell. Go take a bath!
Lush describes a fullness or exotic quality--"Her lush, full lips" or "Her long, lush hair", "Her ripe, lush body"...is it getting hot in here? We'll throw in a lush tropical jungle to keep things from getting R-rated.

There is NO such thing as should 'of'. It's should HAVE, period. Should HAVE gotten jelly while I was at the store. Should HAVE asked Jim to the prom instead of Bill. Should HAVE paid more attention in English, then I wouldn't be sitting here reading this shit and feeling like an idiot.
