She felt her knees buckle and fell on the cold dusty ground of the forest. In her anguish she sliced her wrists and her chest leaving her cold dead heart barren and her body exposed to the elements under the open skies. There she lay her Immortal blood seeping, oozing and mixing with the dry earth. She could feel the blanket of death covering her, a single blood tear rolling down her check. The blood almost drained from her beautiful pale lithe corpse. In the distance she heard the thunder rolling as lightning struck a tree nearby. She felt the heat and heard the dry branches and leaves crackling as the fires ignited. She was ready to burn and face true death.
And as she lay in deaths grip; the rain began to fall. The rain came down, like an angel come down from above, and the rain came down to wash her away but it just wasn't enough...
For on the wind she heard a voice whisper, calling to her in the deep dark of the night. There, there childe you knew the night had its secret didn't you? You didn't think it was all a fairytale? You will gather in Covenants and Coteries, forging a deathless society and holding back the maddness of the beasts. You've died and there's no going back from death I'm afraid.
