About me:
In real life, I'm you're stereotypical 1950 conservative, tight bun-wearing, plain-jane librarian. Well, I'm actually the director which only means I fit the stereotype better than most. I'm pretty outgoing as far as librarians go in my neck of the woods. Outside of the library, I'm extremely shy. Library=safe and out side of the library means I am out of my element...my comfort zone.
My life pretty much revolves around the library. I'm a work-a-holic of course. Most days I love my job. However, I spend a lot of energy fitting into that conservative mold. It's a safe one and even in 2009, it's what is expected.
That's why I'm here. There is another side to me, but it is kept in check. That's getting really old. I'm ready to explore that other side a little more closely and figure this game is the perfect place to do it. I may even let my hair down. *chuckle*
If you see me out and about, don't forget to say hi. I can be really shy, but I really enjoy people. I'm hoping Red Light becomes a positive outlet, and I'm looking forward to making some friends along the way.

I also love writing and painting landscapes: anything that gets my creative juices flowing *blushes*.
I am a nature freak. The outdoors:camping, hiking, biking, gardening or just sitting on the front porch staring at the sky. The beach is properly my most favorite place. I can't really explain why, other than it generally speaks to me, calms me, soothes me. Something tells me it would be the same with the mountains, but we don't have any of those within a 30 minute drive.

Music:
Music is my passion! I love to sing, and have been told I'm pretty good at it. I listen to all genres depending on my mood. Yes I can be moody, but I can't begin to tell you what the right choice of music can do to me.
These days, I listen to Pink and The Black-Eyed Peas in the morning, Enya and Celtic Woman during the day, I get a good workout with Drowning Pools' "Bodies" and Flyleaf's "Sorry" or Beyonce's "Diva." At bedtime, I've been chilling out to Michael Buble, John Mayer or John Legend. If that doean't do it for me, then I listen to George Winston or some other Piano music I find calming. (Told ya I love music.) Oh, and recently I've been turned on to Turkish dance music presented by Putumayo.
