About me:
I'm currently a student majoring in Recreation Management with a minor in Wildland Restoration. I love being outside! Skiing, hiking, backpacking, rock climbing/bouldering, biking, whitewater kayaking, you name it! I'm a total adrenaline junkie so I'm usually down for just about anything. I'm a waitress in an asian restaurant which has increased my interest in ethnic foods. I was taught as a kid to always try everything at least once, and I still live by that today! I do like to get dressed up once in a while, but generally prefer to be outside playing in the dirt. I also hold writers and artists of all kinds in such high regards. I love reading and have always been completely in awe of poetry.
The other love of my life is animals. I started bringing random wildlife home that needed to be rehabbed at about age 15, when I brought home a pheasant that was hit by a car. The latest critter has been four 5 week old skunks who's mother was hit by a car. Unfortunately, I can't bring animals into my dorm room, so I have been restricted for a while, which is unfortunate. I also had a lot of animals growing up, and still have many at home. My evil cat that was rescued from a horse barn (Angus), my chocolate lab/border collie Jake, ten sheep, three cockatiels (Alfa, Beta and Humphrey), my bunny Sam, a llama, and numerous chickens.
