Why do I need to summarize what I would seek to express over a lifetime to someone I love?
I solve problems. I write code. I create avenues for communication. I create art. I try to teach a child to be a good man. I try to love and be loved. I try each day to give the best of myself.

I can! I can!! Hithertofore you have been reading the self-summary of a man who can talk about anything accurately except for himself. So, to help him out, here's littlejadegirl's summary of psimatrix:
He is one of the most genuinely interesting and knowledgeable men I have ever met in my life. On the night that I met him (completely by chance) I walked into a conversation which covered mechanics, quantum mechanics, physics, quantum physics, literature (specifically Sci-fi), the book of Enoch, religion and spirituality (in a very educated sense, not a 'this i what I believe' sense.) He definitely has a thirst for knowledge that will impress any intellectual.
He is very warm. Of course I mean emotionally, not necessarily physically. He is a very caring, compassionate, loving, honest, accepting and open man. My girlfriends will be bitching about men and they have to exclude him specifically for not being (as they say) a 'guy' guy. Have you ever hugged someone and they warmed your very soul? Yeah, kinda like that. He's often dismissed as the nice guy or the best friend. I never understood women that did that... Because, really, in the end, who wants a not-so-nice guy who you're not great friends with? It just boggles my mind...
He is a spiritualist. He definitely has a faith and a spirituality that help guide him through life. I wouldn't call him religious, though. We've both got our issues with organized religion, but that doesn't stop us from having very solid morals and a strong sense of right and wrong. He has very strong family values, and will usually do the hard right thing instead of the easy and easily justifiable thing.
He is an artist. Regardless of how much art he produces, he has an artists perspective and a sort of gluttony for art, music and literature that I gladly share with him. This is, of course, not to mention his sculpting, sketching, writing, singing, drumming and guitar playing habits.
And last, but not least, he is responsible. That word carries so much weight if you take it for everything it implies. This does not just mean: has car, has house, has job (although, he does). This means that he takes responsibility for everything he does in his life. Which usually results in a person who has car, job, etc. He knows what is pragmatically important, he takes care of business, he does what he has to do to maintain. Emotionally and spiritually, he's responsible as well. He doesn't go sloughing off his problems onto other people's shoulders as if it is anyone's fault other than his own.
If you get to know him, you respect him. If you get close to him, you love him. He doesn't really leave you much of a choice. But, what you choose to do with that respect and love, is up to you.

I spend much of my time working or with my son. In my free time I explore and hone my artistic skills, meditate, cooking especially BBQ and spend quality time with my friends.
