Mac_Truk's Scoop
About me:
I am fascinated by this form of meeting and interacting with people. If I were more of an academic, I'd be writing a book on this place, I think it's that unique.
I love the freedom this medium provides. I am also struck by how easy it is to quickly become intimate (yet anonymous at the same time! - so is it really intimacy?) and very aware of how easy it is to be hurt and the potential for high drama. I'm doing my best to steer clear of that... but it is tricky. As many have said we're real people behind the cartoons - though it can be challenging to know which sex - though really people, does it really matter?
I have seen great kindness and caring as well as cruelty and manipulation. All part of the package in a place with no real consequences.
I think I now have a fair idea of the landscape. Or not. I'm here to explore, and I am... to try new things and stretch my own boundaries... to meet interesting avatars... er people... I'm funny except when I'm not. I'm smart and like stimulating conversation, intellectual and most definitely otherwise ;). In fact I've never been so stimulated! WOOOHOOO!
I'm also now the "English Professor" at BJU (poster to come). I have appointments available for private tutoring ;).
Who I'd like to meet:
Interesting people for good conversation concerning this new cyber paradigm and/or anything else mutually interesting. I'd also like to meet women who want to explore the social/sexual possibilities this place offers! I'd also like to meet Albert Einstein and sit his ass down in a locked room and not let him out until he can make me understand his theory of relativity!
