I spend most of my days at home watching TV and pratting about doing various things on my computer. I've just finished university and now i'm jobhunting so that takes up a lot of my time. When i'm not lazing about though I like to go into the city and walk around the place. My home town is quite a weird and wonderful place if you know where to look. At night though i'm usually found in a bar or pub drinking the night away. I prefer quieter places where the beer isn't watered down and you can have a good laugh and a conversation as opposed to ear bleedingly loud nightclubs. I also like comics, my fave's being Preacher and The Crow. Yeah i know it's a little geeky but these days they are awesome...mostly. I also like good TV, my fave shows being House, Chuck and Firefly. Aaaand i'm a bit of a gamer, if I seem slow to respond it's probably because i'm blowing shit up in Liberty City on Grand Theft Auto IV. For my favourite movies, book and music etc check below because I love watching, reading and listening to all three.

Movies:
I love comic book films when they're done right (Batman Begins, Iron Man, Spider-Man 2) and hate them when they're done wrong (Fantastic 4, Ghost Rider, Spider-Man 3). My favourite film of all time has got to be Fight Club since i'm a closet anarchist though The Crow would have to come a close second. I like all kinds of films but not so much modern horror movies since they're all either slasher flicks or torture porn these days. Loved The Shining though and I thought 30 Days of Night was the last decent horror film out there...and it wasn't even that scary. I have an embarassingly massive DVD collection too so I do love watching movies. Prefer watching them with friends though since I like to talk about the good and the bad bits afterwards!
Books:
Basically anything by Stephen King or Richard Laymon. My favourite book is a toss up between The Redemption of Althalus by David and Leigh Eddings or The Shining by Stephen King. My favourite genre's to read are horror and fantasy. After having to read like a novel per week on top of another heap of reading material too i've gone off normal novels as of late and now prefer comic books. They're easier to read and faster to read and have a great re-readability. I'll go back to normal novels one day. Oh and I want to be a writer too so one day i'd like to see my name in a few of these boxes in other folk's profiles. Hey I can dream can't I?
