Interests:
Wooden ships, building and flying RC WWII airplanes (actually love building them more than flying them), wildlife, sea life, off grid solutions and self sufficiency, learning about other cultures, understanding other peoples religious viewpoints instead of attacking them, growing medicine (don't ask if you don't want to know), massage (theraputic and yes... the "much funner kind"!), perpetual motion and other principals that violate the laws of physics, space and astronomy, scifi and fantasy, making a woman sigh with contentment, making love instead of just having sex. Learning to role play better than I can now... speaking my mind, and being spiritual by walking the walk rather than religious and just talking the talk, learning living and loving...

Music:
Your listening to Woodstock
Woe... lots, at about 3 yrs old my dad played fiddle and I fell in love with accustic string instruments, back hills Tennessee bluegrass, by 6 yrs old my sibs were into the 60's music so I was hooked on Hendrix, The Who, Led Zep, Dillan, Cream, the Beatles (big time), folk and ballads like Peter Paul & Mary, Mamma's and the Pappas, Simon and Garfunkel, then as a teen I was into 70's classic rock as it came out like Rush, Styx, Skynard, King Crimson, Eagles, Canadian musiceans like The Guess Who, AC/DC (until the hand of God removed me from a concert just B4 they took the stage - true story), BOC, U2 (which opened my mind to new types of music), classical - Mozart (harpsicord) and Hungarian violin, and then in the 80's I was in a rut until new sounds emerged like Nervanna, Stone Temple Pilot, Live, Pearl Jam, and some selective metal, then I mellowed and started to get into alternative like Enigma (best music to make love to in the world) and Cusco, female soloists like Jewel and Sarah McLachlan, and Loreena Mckennitt, latino sounds like Santana (new and old), some hip hop but can't get into rap yet (sorry - can't handle hate lyrics), and much more... native american drumming and singing, still have an open mind to all music though. OMG! almost forgot my new fav's - Shinedown and Snow Patrol (whew! almost blew it)
Still love this version... hard to watch the ashes ceremony without bringing back memories though...
Over the Rainbow - Israel "IZ" Kamakawiwo'ole OFFICIAL VIDEO from Mountain Apple Company on Vimeo.
Words are flowing out like endless rain into a paper cup
They slither while they pass They slip away across the universe
Pools of sorrow waves of joy are drifting through my opened mind
Possessing and caressing me
Jai guru de va om
Nothing's gonna change my world
Nothing's gonna change my world
Nothing's gonna change my world
Nothing's gonna change my world
Images of broken light which dance before me like a million eyes
They call me on and on across the universe
Thoughts meander like a restless wind inside a letter box
they tumble blindly as they make their way across the universe
Jai guru de va om
Nothing's gonna change my world
Nothing's gonna change my world
Nothing's gonna change my world
Nothing's gonna change my world
Sounds of laughter shades of life
are ringing through my opened ears
inciting and inviting me
Limitless undying love
which shines around me like a million suns
It calls me on and on across the universe
Jai guru de va om
Nothing's gonna change my world
Nothing's gonna change my world
Nothing's gonna change my world
Nothing's gonna change my world
