About me:
So I recently stopped playing a game. One like the SIMS but with porn and actual “working” guys, girls and everything in-between. Cartoon sex on your monitor controlled by the players. Anyway, for me that was a minor part of it.
I had a good time in the beginning. Or at least I thought I did. I was introduced to it right after the loss of my second husband. My gay lover, who was never my lover because he is gay and I am a woman but I call him that because he and I both agreed that we would be a couple is he was straight and I was into feminine men, (I have a thing for unattainable men) was a cam guy on a site that was affiliated with it and he dared me to explore it. So I did.
There were some great times. Roleplaying at it’s finest. At least for a time, even if it was brief. The first 9 years were more good than bad. I didn’t run into completely evil nasty people until I returned after a 5 year absence.
Evidently, the woman that was in control of the “family” of “demons” I was involved with had a psychotic break with reality. She shifted the group from a roleplaying group of friends to a surrealistic image of her real life. First, she never showed up. She was never around to partake in the roleplay. Second, she got upset that the married in real life guy that she was roleplaying with was roleplaying with others. The guy lived across the ocean from her. They never met.
She was married, at the time, in the real world as well. She had just spent several of the 9 years I was in constant contact with her trying to have a baby with the real life husband while telling anyone that would listen that the guy was abusive. So she ended up roleplaying “killing” the guy she was role playing with off and divorced her real life husband and new father of her baby. She then replaced the online roleplaying guy with another guy that was in the same country as her and moved him into her home in real life. Can’t make this shit up, folks. Better than a soap opera.
That is what I have been able to grasp about what happened after I left. I don’t know specific details, but I can imagine. Very sad to hear about the demise of that group of role players. A lot of good story writing came from that group. I have several short stories that came from that group, somewhere. One that was really fun to write was “The Pursuit of The Green Eyed Goddess, A Tale of Lucifer’s Lust”, another was “The Seduction of Lady Mary”. If any of them ever read those titles they should remember, perhaps not. I, for one, mourn the loss. It was what I was hoping to find when I returned. An intact version of what I left.
When I returned to this game. I had to change my name and I had been gone for so long that I used the old group tag after my name. I did it to get the attention of any of the old group that still wandered the virtual walls of the game. That was my first mistake. It was like a dog whistle to the nastiest of what was left of the group. The worst of the role playing group. What else I didn’t know at the time was that those that were left behind had no separation between role play and real life... … …
