Door Licensing Rules
Once a door becomes available any member may place an offer on the door of their choosing. Some doors have licensing and content limitations and can require special roles or licenses requirements to be met prior to placing an offer.
1. If you would like to have your offer or bid approved in Virtual Vancouver, or other non-adult areas, no adult content must be used. This means doors will be rejected if an adult based business with adult content, bids on a door in a non-adult area. If approval criteria’s are met, doors will still be monitored to ensure businesses are adhering to this rule; anyone found in violation will immediately have their door removed without a refund. No exceptions.
2. URL changes will not be done by the business department, if you wish to change your URL you must wait until your license expires and the door drops. Once the door drops you may rebid and utilize the new URL at that time.
3. If you wish to customize your store front, only licensed decorators will be granted access to prop edit in world. It is the sole responsibility of businesses to make arrangements with Licensed Decorators. Once arrangements have been made, you must provide business@utherverse.com with the date, time, region and exact username of the decorator who will be propping your store front for you. Requests can be submitted via either email or ticket system.
4. Door textures can be uploaded through the Social Center:
- click on Property tab from the main menu
- choose Doors sub-tab
- choose Licensed Doors tab
From there you may change your door texture or cancel your door license should you decide to do so.
Please try to avoid using signage for your door front that look like posters as traffic will most likely bypass your store, thinking that it is merely a poster and not a door.
5. Please note that once you have confirmed your bid on a door, that door now becomes subject to your responsibility, this means that no refunds will be given if you made a mistake in bidding for a door. It is the responsibility of our users to make an informed, well thought out decision before becoming a door licensee.
6. Once you are granted a door, your payment will be due on that day of every month. If you fail to make payment you will be at immediate risk to lose your door. Missed payments will result in doors being put back up for auction for all other users. There will be no exceptions; there is no excuse for late or missed payments.
7. All door related questions and requests must be submitted via the ticket system by a person, whose name the door license is under.
